Debating
Debating suits many students who enjoy speaking or thinking about issues. Logic, charisma, creativity, teamwork, good research skills and thinking on your feet are all valued and developed in debating.
There are three divisions, Junior, Senior and Advanced, so students can progress to debate at a high levels.
Debates are sometimes prepared in advance, sometimes in the hour before the moot is released. These debates help speakers to build an argument quickly and to work under pressure.
Debating is a fun extra curricular for strong speakers and those who want to be more confident speaking to a crowd.
