Avondale College’s Boys and Girls Senior Water Polo teams compete in Term 1 and 2. Teams train on Wednesday afternoon at West Wave Pool in Henderson. We compete in the Auckland Secondary School Competition which goes from February to May each year.

 

Our Junior programme begins in Term 1 with a preliminary round competition. Players who are keen continue to train through the winter on Wednesday afternoons. The Auckland Championship competition is held in Term 4.

 

We enter teams into the North Island and National Championships each year. In previous years our girls have won both the North Islands and Nationals. In 2008 our boys placed 6th at Nationals.
