There are 56 new learner drivers on the road in Avondale, thanks to a free drivers' licencing programme run at Avondale College in the holidays!
The programme was a new initiative from the Avondale College Careers Department, made possible thanks to generous sponsorship from the Chamber of Commerce and the VTNZ mobile testing unit. The students attended three days of intense classes, and then were able to sit their learners' licence. All 56 students were very excited and thankful to have this opportunity!
