Making muddy memories!

Dressed in plenty of pink, our 12OED class, made up of a mix of international and domestic students, embraced the mud, obstacles, and excitement of the Tough Guy and Gal Secondary School Challenge at the Kumeu Showgrounds.

Buses full of students arrived from around the North Island, ready to test their resilience and teamwork as they tackled the muddy course. From climbing obstacles and water crossings to crawling through mud, participants gave it their all while enjoying every moment of the adventure.

Our students represented Avondale College with enthusiasm and school spirit throughout the day. A standout achievement was our boys' team, who finished an impressive fourth place against strong competition from schools around the region.

While the results were fantastic, the highlights were the laughter, camaraderie, and muddy memories made along the way!
