Dear Parents/Caregivers and Students

As we approach the end of the school year, please note the following important dates and arrangements for senior and junior students.

Tuesday 3 November: Senior Prizegiving and last day of timetabled classes for senior students

Tuesday 3 November is the final day of classes for all senior students (Years 11-13).
Our Senior Prizegiving will be held on this day, at 5:30pm in the Stadium. Families of award recipients have already been notified.
Senior students will finish school at 12.30pm.
Junior students will learn from home on Tuesday 3 November and are not required to attend school.

IPAC (Individualised Personalised Achievement Course) for invited senior students begins Wednesday 4 November.

Junior Examinations: Wednesday 4 November to Monday 9 November

Junior examinations will take place during this period. Further information regarding examination arrangements will be provided through subject teachers. The exam timetable is available on the Student Hub/Exams page, and in Heartbeat.

NCEA Examinations: 10 November - 4 December.

Teacher Only Day: Friday 13 November

The school will be closed for a Teacher Only Day. Students are not required to attend.

Year 13 Graduation Event: Friday 4 December, 5.00pm-8.00pm

The Year 13 Graduation Event will be held for students and their families at Avondale College. Details have already been communicated directly to Year 13 families.

Junior Prizegiving and final day for junior students: Thursday 10 December

Junior Prizegiving will begin at 10.00am. This is also the final day of school for junior students.
Students should attend school as normal in the morning. Following Prizegiving, students will be dismissed at 12.30pm.
