PROJECT Dance

The AD Street Dance Crew recently travelled to Tauranga to compete at the PROJECT Dance Competition, marking their first competition performance of the year.

As a younger and developing crew, stepping onto the stage was an exciting milestone and a valuable opportunity to gain experience in a competitive environment. The dancers embraced the challenge with enthusiasm, confidence, and determination, proudly representing Avondale College and showcasing the hard work they have put into their training throughout the term.

The team received positive feedback from judges, fellow competitors, and audience members, leaving the competition feeling inspired and motivated. More importantly, they walked away with increased confidence, stronger team connections, and a clear sense of the exciting potential they have as a crew.

The experience has energised the dancers as they look ahead to their major competition, Blueprint, later this year. With valuable stage experience now under their belts, the crew is eager to continue refining their work, pushing themselves creatively, and bringing even more energy in the next competition.

We are incredibly proud of the commitment, resilience, and positive attitude shown by every member of the crew. This competition was a fantastic start to the season, and we can't wait to see what AD Street Dance Crew achieves next.
