Avondale College celebrated Tongan Language Week last week with a superb showcase of cultural wear, modelled by students and staff in the PAC on Thursday. It was an informative and entertaining event that was greatly enjoyed by the lunchtime crowd. On Friday, a number of students and staff took the opportunity to wear traditional Tongan cultural wear, and throughout the week, students participated in a variety of fun activities centred around the language and culture of Tonga.
