Y13 Grad Event

We are looking forward to celebrating the Class of 2026 at our leavers celebration on Friday 4 December from 5-8pm.

Please note that the information and attendance forms previously sent home to Year 13 students and parents have now been replaced by our online ticketing system. All students and guests will need to register through TryBooking to secure their tickets.

Each Year 13 student is entitled to:

• One student ticket

• Up to two guest tickets for family members or supporters

As this is the first year we have offered this format, we appreciate your patience as we refine the process and create a meaningful new tradition for our graduates and their families. Although we are initially limiting guest tickets to two per family, we may be able to increase this number closer to the event.

While this is not a formal graduation ceremony, it is an opportunity to celebrate and recognise your young person's five years at Avondale College alongside family, friends, and staff.

Event programme

5.00pm - Y13 Leavers Celebration  Avondale College Stadium

Students and guests will gather for a special celebration featuring:

• Presentation of leavers' certificates

• Reflections and memories from the Class of 2026

• Recognition of the graduates' contribution to the College

• A chance to mark this important milestone together

Following the ceremony The celebrations will continue outdoors with:

• Food trucks (food available for purchase)

• Music

• Opportunities for photos with friends and whānau

Families are welcome to bring a picnic rug or camping chair and stay to enjoy the evening together.

We look forward to celebrating this special occasion with our graduating students and their loved ones.
