Capturing our Excellence Award's backstory

Avondale College welcomed a professional videography crew from Frank Productions this week, who visited the school to capture the story behind our Education Excellence Award for Quality Teaching and Instruction. The resulting video will be used by the Ministry of Education to inspire and support other schools.

The crew spent the day filming around the College, capturing learning in action across a range of subjects, including Mathematics, English, Chemistry, and Dance. They also interviewed a number of teachers, Principal Mrs Watkinson, and members of the Senior Leadership Team to gain insight into the practices and approaches that underpin high-quality teaching and learning at Avondale.

The team from Frank Productions were incredibly friendly and professional, helping staff and students feel relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera.
