Fresh from his success at the SGCNZ Shakespeare Festival in Wellington, student director and actor Milo Wilson-MacLeod (Year 11) has been selected for the National Shakespeare Schools Production. He will spend nine days in Wellington with 47 others, rehearsing with industry professionals and performing one of Shakespeare’s plays. From this event around 20 students will get selected to form the SGCNZ Young Shakespeare Company and travel to London where they will learn and perform at Shakespeare’s Globe in 2027.

Milo says he's looking forward to being able to meet other students from across the country, and making some new friends.

"I'm excited to see what Shakespeare piece we are going to put together down there, and being able to have nine days to work on it with some of the best Shakespeare directors in the country. I can’t wait to see how it turns out."

Congratulations and all the best, Milo!
