Our 12PED students recently created a multi-station event for Rosebank Primary students to rotate through a series of unique, fun activities aimed and encouraging movement.
Activities included knocking cones off a table, blindfolded battles with pool noodles, dribbling balls and a strategy game involving jumping across coloured circles.
"My group's specific game was named “Rob the Bank", similar to 'Capture the Flag," shares Jared Villegas. "Our aim for this event is to raise the daily physical activities among young people, encouraging the idea of teamwork in small groups and ensuring an engaging environment where all participants can easily achieve their daily physical requirements to stay active and healthy."
Quina Figota said that the highlight was seeing how engaged the children were, "and hearing their feedback about how much they enjoyed it."
Students demonstrated and upheld our HEART values throughout the event, showing strong leadership and teamwork to ensure its success and enjoyment for all involved.
We are proud of their efforts and look forward to continuing to strengthen our partnership with Rosebank Primary.
