We would like to advise that the PPTA has confirmed strike action on Tuesday 6 June 2023 for Year 10 students, and on Thursday 8 June for Year 9 students.
On these days PPTA members will not be teaching the students in these year levels, so we advise students to continue with their work and study independently at home, which may include finishing classwork, doing homework, working towards assessments or going over class notes.
The school will be open as normal for all other year levels.
A small number of non-union staff will be available to supervise students if required. Should your child need supervision for the day, please email: admin@avcol.school.nz.
